Question: What are your hours of service?
Answer: The Pope County Human Resources office is open Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday's 8:00am - 3:30pm

Question: How can I find out about job openings in Pope County?
Answer: Job openings appear in the Pope County Tribune and are posted to the Pope County website on the Employment page.

Question: What do I need to submit in order to apply for an open position with Pope County?
Answer: A cover letter, resume and three professional references.

Question: How do I get detailed information about a job that is open?
Answer: Open position job descriptions are available to read on the Pope County website Employment page or in the Pope County Human Resources office.

Question: What is the time line to apply for an open position?
Answer: Applications must be received between the opening and closing date of the open position.  You can drop off your application materials, mail them or email them using the contact information found on the Human Resources page.  Applications will be accepted if received by 4:30pm on the closing date of the position.  (Note: Friday's the courthouse closes at 3:30pm, so if dropping it off, you will need to come before that time.)

Question: Can I submit one resume for more than one position?
Answer: No.  A cover letter, resume and references need to be received for each position in which you are applying.

Question: Do you accept an application instead of a resume?
Answer: No.  A cover letter, resume and three professional references are required for every opening.
